So, you asked me about my skin…
Maybe you heard me talking about RIMAN. Maybe you asked what I use on my skin. Maybe my age came up and you thought I was 10+ years younger. Or maybe you found out I’m a grandma of seven and did a double take.
Those are exactly the kinds of conversations that usually bring people here.
RIMAN is the Korean skincare line I personally use and recommend, and I’m happy to tell you why I love it. But this is not a page where I’m going to hand you a giant shopping list the minute you arrive.
Look around. Learn a little about the approach. Then, if you want help figuring out what might make sense for your skin, I can help with that too.

Why I talk about it
I use it. I love how my skin looks and feels. And people notice.
I didn’t start sharing skincare because I wanted everyone to use a complicated routine. I share it because my own skin changed enough that people started asking questions.
What are you using? What do you do for your skin? Wait, how old are you?
Those conversations are fun, but they also open the door to something I care about more: helping women understand their skin and find a routine they can actually enjoy and stick with.
Something I learned the hard way
Sometimes it isn’t your makeup. It’s your skin barrier.
As my skin began changing through menopause, I thought my makeup was the problem. It looked dry and seemed to sit differently, so naturally I thought I needed different makeup.
What I eventually realized was that my makeup was showing me what was happening underneath. My skin was changing. It needed hydration, nourishment and help healing and strengthening its skin barrier.
That was a huge shift for me. Instead of trying to cover dry, unhappy skin with better makeup, I started focusing on making the skin itself healthier.
Because makeup can only look as good as the skin underneath it.
That’s one of the reasons I love the Korean skincare approach. It isn’t just about correcting what you see. It’s about caring for the skin barrier, restoring hydration and supporting healthier-looking skin over time.
The philosophy matters
Healthy skin is the goal. More products are not.
What drew me to Korean skincare was the long-game approach. Instead of chasing every new trend, I focus on the basics that help skin look and feel its best over time: cleansing well, supporting the skin barrier, hydrating consistently, protecting the skin and choosing products with intention.
For me, that means supporting the skin’s natural barrier and giving dry, depleted skin the hydration and care it needs to recover and function well. You may eventually love a multi-step ritual. You may be happiest with a few essentials. Either can be right.
A simpler way to think about skincare
Start with what your skin needs now.
Cleanse well
A good routine starts with removing makeup, sunscreen, oil and the buildup of the day without making skincare feel complicated.
Hydrate and support
Skin can look healthier when the routine supports hydration and the skin barrier instead of constantly trying to strip, scrub or “fix” it.
Stay consistent
The routine you will actually use is more valuable than the impressive routine sitting untouched on the bathroom counter.

You do not have to buy everything
We can start small.
One of the things I want women to know before we ever talk products is that a skincare routine should fit your skin, your life and your comfort level.
For one person, the best first step may be improving cleansing. For someone else, it may be adding more hydration or building a fuller ritual. There is no prize for owning the most products.
I would rather help you understand why you’re using something than hand you a list and hope for the best.

You don’t have to figure it out alone.
Step 1
Tell me about your skin
The quiz gives me a starting point: what you’re using now, what bothers you, what you want to improve and how simple or involved you want your routine to be.
Step 2
I help narrow it down
I use your answers to help you make sense of the options. The quiz is a guide, not a vending machine that spits out a mandatory shopping list.
Step 3
You decide what feels right
You can start with a few basics, build over time or simply keep learning. My job is to make skincare feel clearer, not more pressured.
My approach
I want you to understand your skin, feel good about your routine and know why you chose it.
Ready when you are
Want help finding your starting point?
You do not have to take the quiz just because you landed here. Read, look around and come back when you’re ready. If you do want personalized guidance, the quiz is the easiest place to start.
