Collagen Inside + Out: Why I Use Two Different Kinds of Collagen
For a long time, when I thought about collagen, I thought of it as one thing. But collagen support can show up in two very different ways: what you put on your skin and what you take in as part of your wellness routine.
That is why I use two different RIMAN collagen products. They are not duplicates, and they are not trying to do the same job. One is a topical treatment for the skin. The other is a drinkable collagen supplement designed to support beauty from within.

The “Out”: RIMAN Collagen 100 Melting Mask
The Collagen 100 Melting Mask is unlike the traditional wet sheet masks most of us picture. It is a topical collagen treatment made with ultra-fine collagen fibers that are applied directly to the skin and then activated as part of the RIMAN skincare ritual.
This is the one I reach for when I want my skin to feel especially hydrated, smooth and refreshed. I love it before an event, after travel, or anytime my skin is looking a little tired and I want that extra-care step.
It is not meant to replace a consistent skincare routine. I see it as a treatment that complements the daily work of cleansing, hydrating and supporting the skin barrier.

Beauty Collagen EX approaches collagen from a completely different direction. It is a drinkable beauty supplement containing low-molecular-weight collagen peptides, along with ingredients selected to support a beauty-from-within routine.
For me, this is the long-game side of the conversation. Skincare matters, but I also like thinking about how I support myself from the inside instead of expecting one cream, serum or mask to do everything.
And that is the biggest distinction between these two products: the Melting Mask is topical skincare, while Beauty Collagen EX is a dietary supplement. Same collagen conversation, two very different roles.
Why I Like Using Both
I am not interested in collecting products just for the sake of having more products. I want to understand what each one is actually doing and where it belongs.
The Collagen 100 Melting Mask gives me an intentional treatment step on the outside. Beauty Collagen EX gives me a simple inside-out option that fits into my broader beauty and wellness routine.
Neither is a shortcut, and neither replaces the basics. But together, they make sense to me because they support two different parts of the same goal: caring for my skin intentionally and helping it look healthy, hydrated and glowing.
